Exemplary Behavior from the District Governor of Gülnar

Meals collected by the Gulnar District Governorship from catering companies serving at the construction site of the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant, which is under construction in Gülnar district, continue to be distributed to our unclaimed stray animals through the ingenuity of law enforcement agencies.

An exemplary action was taken for stray animals in Gülnar district of Mersin. Meals collected by the Gülnar District Governorship from catering companies serving at the construction site of the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant, which is under construction in Gulnar district, continue to be distributed to our unclaimed stray animals through the ingenuity of law enforcement agencies. Gülnar District Governorate rolled up its sleeves for the stray animals which are struggling with the cold weather caused by the winter season on the one hand, and the problem of finding food on the other. Meals received from companies supplying food to the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant, which continues to operate in the district, are regularly distributed to stray animals. Law enforcement officers, who put in great efforts in distributing food, are appreciated for their behavior. Police officers, who voluntarily work to feed street animals in addition to their own profession, raise great awareness about helping street animals. It was stated that food aid to street creatures, which was greatly appreciated by the citizens, will continue regularly.
