Reactor Cleaning
The construction of reactors, which are the heart of a nuclear power plant, requires extremely fine workmanship. The internal cleaning of the reactor is carried out by competent employees of İçtur Servis. The peak of the reactor is 52 meters high. The parts at ground level are cleaned by our cleaning experts, and the parts exceeding 2.5 meters are cleaned by our alpinist employees. Processes are carried out in the installation areas inside the reactor according to the results of dust and moisture tests conducted by authorized laboratories. According to the operation and cleaning plan, the area / region /room to be started for the next stage is being prepared meticulously. The areas cleaned by our employees are called the “clean zone” according to the laboratory results. In areas that are considered suitable as clean zones, sensitive works such as equipment placement and installation are initiated without disturbing the sterility of the area. In the reactor building, which needs to be cleaned according to international standards, it is made sterile almost like an operating room and the cleaning is performed by İçtur Servis and other necessary operations for construction are started.
Accommodation Services
As İçtur Servis, we at the highest level meet the housing needs of 26,000 valuable employees working on the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant Project. All the needs of the employees are met meticulously in our accommodation areas in the form of 8 hotels and 16 construction camps located in 5 various regions. In addition to accommodation services, our camping areas also offer many privileged services such as food and beverage services, laundry and ironing, social activity areas such as places of worship, barbershop, canteen, clubs, security service and room cleaning.
Hygiene and health standards are kept at the highest level by regularly cleaning the rooms, corridors and general areas in the accommodation facilities. Additionally, pest control services are provided periodically to maintain a healthy environment.
In order to keep the comfort of the employees at the highest level, there is a 24-hour hot and cold water in the construction camps and each room is equipped with air conditioning and heating system. Drinking and utility water is supplied with state-of-the-art devices and is regularly analyzed and controlled. The entrances and exits to our construction camps are carefully controlled and 24-hour security services are provided.
Food and Beverage Services
With 3 kitchens and 13 dining halls located on the site of Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant and 5 kitchens and 30 dining halls located off-site, we produce meals for a total of 72,000 people daily, including 3 meals for employees.
Monthly menus are created by taking into account the nationality distribution and daily nutritional values of domestic and foreign personnel working in the field. Daily production planning is carried out in accordance with the orders received from the companies and we work diligently to maintain healthy and balanced nutrition standards. Our food operations are run with great care and meticulousness at all stages, before, during and after the production, by expert food engineers and operation managers. As İçtur Servis, we strive to provide the highest quality service by prioritizing the satisfaction and health of employees.
Personnel Transportation Services
We have been providing transportation services with 600 vehicles per day since 2021 in order to ensure the safe and comfortable transportation of personnel to their work areas. Employees are provided transportation from the construction camps where they stay to their working area, in line with the service hours planned in accordance with working hours.
In order to ensure the safety of our employees and maintain our service quality, all our vehicles are inspected regularly and all their equipment is checked. As İçtur Servis, transportation in accordance with vehicle capacities and compliance with traffic rules are among our first priorities.
All our vehicles are checked thoroughly by vehicle shipping experts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. When any nonconformity is detected, the relevant vehicles are removed from operation until their deficiencies are eliminated and safe transportation is carried out. This process is carried out with sensitivity in order to ensure the safety of our personnel at the highest level.
